Bright Horizons - IBSZ primary school was founded in 2013.

The primary school was established after the success of our Kindregarten, which opened in 2006 (https://kindergarten.hr/).

Bright Horizons is verified by the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education.

In addition to being a member of COBIS (Council of British International Schools) Bright Horizons-IBSZ cooperates closely with the British Embassy in Zagreb.

High School opening

We are pleased to introduce high quality, international education at the secondary level. Our new high school, International British School Bright Horizons, will be centrally located in Zagreb at Ulica Augusta Harambašića 19. Through this program,...
we will be able to provide a continuity of study for our students following the British national curriculum with Cambridge examination. Students in our secondary program will have an opportunity to graduate with IGSCE- and A-level diplomas recognized in Croatia and worldwide. Bright Horizons is a member of COBIS (Council of British International Schools) and cooperates closely with the British Embassy in Zagreb.

students through participation in fun and interactive learning experiences in Minecraft. It aims at doing so by engaging learners in enjoyable challenges that will be based on the AI five big ideas and which will require simple coding development to be solved. ‘’Stop, Breathe, Think’’ is the name of the K1 approved project in which Bright Horizons staff participates in trainings within accredited centers throughout Europe with the goal to develop and expand their knowledge of Mindfulness so they can also bring these skills to their classes and pupils.

Our journey as a school begins
