Finishing elementary and high school in Toronto, Canada, Anna moved to Croatia at the age of 18. She enrolled into The Faculty of Humanities and Social sciences. There she received her masters degree in sociology and pedagogy. After graduating she worked at various state schools throughout Croatia. During her years working in state schools, she obtained useful experience and knowledge of the Croatian educational system. After a few years of this work experience she decided to search for a more dynamic working environment. Anna applied for the position of a school counsellor at our school and since 2019 has been at our school. She loves to work with children, help with their guidance and tries her best to make sure that all pupils receive the support needed and that their educational journey is as memorable as possible.  She is at the disposal of all parents for any questions or concerns as well as support to all our staff members. In her free time she loves to read books, travel around the world and try delicious and new cuisines. Spending quality time with friends and family are also one of her many hobbies.

Krisztina Saling Hollo holds a Master's degree in English Literature and Linguistics, and she also studied Latin in the university. During her undergraduate studies, she gained her Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) in England. Krisztina began her teaching career as an English as a Second Language and English as an Additional Language teacher in Hungary before moving to Croatia. Over nearly 20 years, she has taught primary and secondary students, as well as adults. She is trained in Asian Maths Teaching Methods and enjoys incorporating these approaches into her lessons. Her full scale linguistic experience beyond teaching includes all-level language exam preparation and film dubbing. Krisztina completed a Film Dubbing Course and spent several years translating documentaries, series and television programmes. Her interest in Latin, ancient cultures and history continues to enrich her teaching. She takes an individual approach to each student, encouraging them to reach their full potential. Krisztina has been part of the Bright Horizons team for more than seven years, and in addition to her role as a class teacher, she has taken on the responsibility of coordinating the Primary Years programme.

Sara McCowell completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education at Brock University in Canada before relocating to England, where she taught in Year 3 and Year 4 classes for two years. She then returned to Canada, teaching at both the primary and secondary levels for seven years. During this time, she completed her Master’s of Education in Administration and Leadership, as well as working as a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Education at Brock University. In 2025, she moved to Croatia and became part of the Bright Horizons team. She is passionate about supporting students in reaching their potential and brings creativity and care to the classroom. In her spare time, she enjoys canoeing, camping, hiking, and often using these adventures as inspiration for her artwork.

Sara Sigur got her masters degree in psychology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. During her university years, she volunteered for an organization dedicated to supporting mental health where she was engaged in online psychological counseling, writing educational articles, and workshops. After graduation, she spent several years working at a shelter for women and children who had experienced domestic violence where knowledge about stress and trauma, but also learned a lot about the needs of children at various developmental stages. She devoted most of her time working with children. She is attending additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and regularly expands her knowledge through various educations.  In her free time, she enjoys being with her loved ones, spending time in nature, travelling, discovering new places or watching a good movie.
